People think that the logical activities in Christmas holiday are enjoying and sex. Most people want to be partner in the New Year in order that people will be outside the universities, works and schools during 2-3 days New Year holiday. Therefore people think it is normal which people want to make sex with partner in order to be able to throw negative energy and stress throughout the year. However, people can have "unprotected sex" in order that they want to throw a large part of their energies with sex, alcohol and drug and so they can be exposed to "unintended pregnancy" and "sexually diseases" such as HIV and AIDS. THE RATE OF MAKING UNPROTECTED SEX SHOWS AN INCREASE IN THE NEW YEAR NIGHT…

According to research of CİSED, CISED Honorary President Dr. Cem Keçe says; "The rate of unintended pregnancy and sexually diseases show an increase. This is a piece of evidence of researches that unwanted pregnancies reach higher in December and January than normal numbers. Others piece of evidences are that pregnancy rates in the first quarter of each year increase after the New Year and similarly, rates of unmarried pregnant women increase in the third quarter of each year. As CİSED, we are aware of increasing lots of sexually diseases such as syphilis, gonorrhea, herpes, chlamydia and trichomoniasis except for unintended pregnancy in the first quarter of each year. Additionally, in the first quarter of year, the rate of AIDS tests increases in sexual health clinics and hospitals. These show that people take measures less in December and January than other months".

Actually, there are too excuses such as office parties, school celebrations, festivals and being together more than others days, current affairs, new acquaintances or a combination of ex-lovers, the uncontrolled use of alcohol and drugs. But actually, it can be one explanation; high alcohol and drug consumption, risky sexual behavior and unprotected sex. In the same time, sexual activities, which are prepared only during the week of Christmas for people, bring about unexpected and unwanted pregnancies. If you want to finish the year 2012 as smoothly and lucky and you want to enter the new year as healthy and happy, you should be done protected sex with partner and you should stay away from using uncontrolled alcohol and drugs. Otherwise, the New Year can turn into a nightmare".
