CISED Honorary President Dr. Cem Keçe mentions that child marriage is one of the most important social problems in our country and Dr. KEÇE says; "In our country, there are more little brides who get married for money with man as grandfather, get taken as a second or third woman, are done physical and sexual violence by senior man and have sometimes a child as a child…. As can be seen, these girls' parents think that little girls are economic distress so if parents get off their little daughter, their economic problems will finish. The little brides are defeated their rights and they move away sexual life without even knowing what it means on account of sexuality that they have to do during young ages to get married by force when they are little girls. Therefore, they think that sexuality is duty and they have sexual dysfunctions. Moreover, they commit suicide in order that they do not deal with trauma".

CİSED President of the General Psychiatry Specialist Asst. Dr. Cebrail Kısa defends that multi-faceted reforms must be done in areas where there are early marriages in order to change tradition ingrained codes in people' minds and Dr. KISA continues, "People say that The child marriage is tradition so they force people' throat but these marriages cause a great damage in our country and these embarrass development of the country and society. We believe as CİSED that these should be a duty for particularly The Ministry of Education and Media, all institutions and agencies in order that rights can be implemented in The Declaration of the Rights of the Child".
